Frequently Asked Questions —

01

Q — Where are you based out of?

A — I am based out of SLC. Utah has the perfect amount of incredible city views, landscapes, mountains, and deserts that I’ve been so blessed to be able to explore and shoot. If you want ideas for places in Utah to visit or explore let me know! I am more than willing to travel outside of Utah— let’s party in your hometown, or roadtrip to a destination that neither of us have ever been before! As for travel + out of state costs, please inquire with me for a quote.

Q — Who do you enjoy photographing?

A — My answer might not be what you’d expect! Rather than just taking every inquiry that comes my way, I like to make sure we are a good fit and I will be honest if I think another photographer will fit your needs better. I love working with those who understand the creative process, and fully embrace that with me. Some of my favorite experiences are those where I am able to create a relationship and we become genuine friends. I prefer working with those who trust in me and my vision, and feel comfortable and let their true emotions show.

Q — How long have you been doing photography/videography?

A — I started doing photo + video in high school. I was apart of the student news team and learned all about photojournalism, story telling, and capturing emotion without disturbing the moment. In college I further studied journalism and content creation, and absolutely fell in love with story telling all over again. I wouldn’t be a photographer if it weren't to tell stories and preserve those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Over eight years later and here we are! This is my dream job and I’m so very grateful.

Q — Do you shoot on film?

A — Yes! I’m so happy you asked! ;) Shooting film is such a passion of mine and it with all of my photography packages. I mainly shoot on Portra 35mm Film, an occasional 120mm, as well as Super 8 Film (Video). I have a few different film cameras at the moment— some of my favorites are a Canon AE-1 + Holga 120N + Canon 310 XL Super 8. They are my little babies and it’s rare that you find me without one in my hand. I started shooting film in 2020, but since then I’ve gone through hundreds of film rolls.. and this is only the beginning haha. It’s become my absolute favorite thing!
